Sorry for the delay on with Christmas...
Christmas this year was a little different for me. Normally it's a huge production which usually included about 30 people. So needless to say it was a little different but good for us to stay in Utah for our first Christmas as a family. We started Christmas week with Brody's Birthday followed by some last minute shopping. Yes, mrs. plan ahead waited until the 23rd to pick out and buy Jeremy's presents. In my defense I couldn't figure out what to get Jeremy. Christmas even I spent a good portion of the day preparing for dinner and making sure the house looked nice. Jeremy' s brother Brad came over as well as our friends Cade and Carrian and their daughter Peyton.

It was so much fun to have our friends and family over for Christmas eve dinner. We ate dinner, decorated cookies and the boys watched some football. By the time they left around 9 or so I was dead and headed up to bed. At 6:30 in the morning Brody must have know it was Christmas because he decided it was time to get up. After trying to convince him to go back to sleep in our bed we finally gave up and got up for the morning.

We started opening presents and took a break for some yummy french toast. Brody still doesn't quite get it but all in all it was a lot of fun opening presents even if Jeremy and I opened them for him. Brody loved all of his presents. Thank you to all of our family for the awesome gifts you sent he loves them. He is currently quite obsessed with the Wagon Jeremy's parent's go him.
All day Christmas day he would open the door, get in, shut the door, open the door, get out, shut the door, open the door, get in..... well you get the idea. One time he completely shut the door and couldn't get it back open so he dove over the side in, it was quite the site to see. Christmas day was also an exciting day Brody learned to say Ugh Oh. He grabbed something and I told Jeremy to grab it from him and Jeremy said Ugh Oh and Brody repeated it (very clearly I might add). Later Christmas day we headed over to Jeremy's Aunts house for dinner. It was a lot of fun and more of what I was used to with so many people. We ate yummy turkey and ham, hung out, and had a little talent show of sorts. All in all Christmas was really good. After leaving we were stuck in a blizzard it took us over an hour to get home when it should have taken no more than 30 minutes. It was a total white out. The snow was blowing horizontally. It was crazy. When we finally made it home we were exhausted and went straight to bed.
